Recently written many books and novels where they insist that Jesus was married or that he could do.
The New American Bible, however, teaches us that Jesus is the eternal virgin.

In the Gospel, Jesus teaches us what the resurrected life of the elect who will live in the Kingdom of God,
live like angels and do not take a wife or husband;
Luke 20: 34-37
Jesus replied: "The children of this age marry and are given in marriage;
but those who are considered worthy of the world and the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor be married;
nor can they die any more, because they are like angels, and they are the children the resurrection, are children of God
Now we see that both the elect angels that resurrected, are children of God, can not take a wife or husband, may not have
sex, but live chaste and pure.
Jesus before they were born into this world, lived with God was the Word and the Son of God;
John 1: 1
In the beginning was the Word,
the Word was with God and the Word was God
John 1: 14
And the Word became flesh and dwelt
among us, and we beheld his glory, glory as of
only Son from the Father,
full of grace and truth.
So Jesus existed before being born into this world, and he taught himself;
John 3: 13
No one has ascended into heaven except the Son of Man who descended from heaven. John
6: 51
I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats this bread will live forever and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world.
Jesus explains well his seniority;
John 8: 58
Jesus answered them, "Truly, I tell you, before Abraham was, I am. "
John 17: 5
And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory which I had with You before the world was.
John 17 : 24
Father, I want those you have given me be with me where I am, to behold my glory which you have given me because you loved me
before the creation of the world.
So Jesus is God and being in the world can not take a wife, but it's like an angel.

We see that Jesus is born of a marriage union, but the Holy Spirit;
Matthew 1: 20-21
's that appeared in a dream an angel of the Lord and said: "Joseph , son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary,
your wife, because what is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.
she will bear a son and you shall call his name Jesus: he will save his people from their sins. "
Luke 1: 26-35
The angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee named Nazareth,
to a virgin betrothed to a man of House of David, named Joseph. The Lord is with you.
came to her and said, "Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with thee."
But she was troubled and wondered what kind of greeting this might be.
The angel said to her: "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God
are to conceive a son, and you shall call his name Jesus
will be great and called Son of the Lord God will give him the throne of David his father
and reign over the house of Jacob forever and his kingdom will never end. "
Mary said to the angel:" How is that possible? No husband. "
And the angel said:" The Holy Spirit will come upon you, on you will overshadow the power of.
one to be born will be called holy, the Son of God
Jesus was born as God incarnate, can not marry, even if it takes human nature, it retains its divine nature.

John the Baptist called Jesus the Lamb of God, to show its purity and holiness;
John 1: 35-36
The next day John was standing with two of his disciples
and he looked Jesus as he walked up and said, "Behold the Lamb of God."
******************************************
Jesus makes know his divine nature AIU his apostles, even before the resurrection, the transfiguration;
Matthew 17: 1-5
after six days Jesus took Peter, James and his brother John and led them apart, on a high mountain.
And he was transfigured before them: and his face shone like the sun and his garments became white as light.
And behold, there appeared to them Moses and Elijah, talking with him.
Then Peter answered and said to Jesus: "Lord, it is for us to be here if you want, let us make here three tents, one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah."
He was still speaking when a bright cloud overshadowed them with his shadow. And a voice that said:
"This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Listen."
********************************************
Jesus appeared as the third person of the Holy Trinity, He is the Fglio of God, God is his Father, and with them is the Holy Spirit;
Matthew 3: 16-17
newly baptized, Jesus came water: and lo, the heavens opened and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him.
And a voice from heaven said, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."
The Holy Trinity as Jesus defines it;
Matthew 28: 18-20
And Jesus came and said to them: "I was given all authority in heaven and on earth.
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. Here I am with you always, until the end of the world ".
So Jesus being the third person of the Holy Trinity can not marry.

Jesus reveals his divine qualities, teaches that the bread that came down from heaven;
John 6: 51
I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats this bread will live forever and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world.
This explains it well at the Last Supper;
Matthew 26: 26-28
Now, while they were eating Jesus took bread, blessed it, broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying: "Take, eat, this is my body."
Then he took the cup, gave thanks, gave it to them, saying, "Drink all,
because this is my blood of the covenant, shed for many for the forgiveness of sins.
Now the bread of heaven can not take a wife.
**********************************
Jesus teaches that He is the Light;
John 8: 12
Again Jesus spoke to them: "I am the light of the world whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life."
Now the Light of God can not take a wife.
*************************************
Jesus claims to be the Son of God ;
John 10: 30
I and the Father are one. "
Jesus the Son of God can not take a wife.
******************* **************************
Jesus claims to be the resurrection and the life
John 11: 25
Jesus said: "I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, though he die, will live
Jesus' resurrection and divine life eternal can not marry.
****************************************
Jesus claims to be the way, truth and life:
John 14: 6
Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Jesus divine way, truth and life can not get married.
************************************
Jesus reveals that he who sees Him sees the Father, John
14: 7-11
If you know me, know my Father also: henceforth you know him and have seen. "
Philip said:" Lord, show us the Father and all we need. "
Jesus replied: "For so long time with you and you do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say 'Show us the Father?
not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say, not speak on my own, but the Father who dwells in me does his works.
Believe I am in the Father and the Father is in me, or else believe me for the works themselves.
Jesus is God, so can not marry.
******************************************
Jesus then lived virgin and is a virgin forever. Jesus also advised his followers to remain virgins for the kingdom of heaven;
Matthew 19: 12
there are eunuchs who have been so from birth, there are some that have been made eunuchs by men, and there are
others who have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven. Who can understand, understand. "
Now if Jesus asks his followers to remain virgins, but he is a virgin.
*****************************************
Paul also recommends the virginal state of the believers;
1 Crinzi 7: 7-8
I wish everyone were like me, but each has his own gift from God, who in one way, and one of another.
to the unmarried and to widows I say it is good for them to remain as I am
1 Corinthians 7: 32-34
I want you no worries: who is unmarried is concerned about the things of the Lord, how to please the Lord
but the married man worries about things in the world, how he may please his wife, and is divided
! So the woman is not married, the virgin is anxious about the affairs of the Lord, to be holy in body and spirit;
the married woman is anxious about worldly affairs, how to please her husband.
*****************************************
St. Paul imitates Jesus, then he is single;
1 Corinthians 11: 1
Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.
*********************************************** However
Jesus his bride, the church;
Ephesians 5: 21-33
Be subject to one another out of reverence for Christ.
Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord
the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the Church, he himself the savior of the body.
as the church is subject unto Christ, so let wives also be subject to their husbands in everything.
And Husbands, love your wives as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her,
to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing of water with the word, in order
to be present the glorious church, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but holy and without blemish.
Even so husbands should love their wives as their own bodies, for he who loves his wife loves himself.
no man ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, as Christ does the Church,
because we are members of his body.
For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and cleaves to his wife and the two shall become one flesh.
This is a great mystery but I speak concerning Christ and the Church!
So you also, each for its part, love their wife as himself, and she is respectful to her husband.
************************************************ **********
Conclusion: Jesus as divine in nature and heavenly, it was like an angel, could not and did not want to get married.
Jesus loved her virginity and advised colororo they could to the Kingdom of Heaven.
Jesus taught us to pray that is the Rhine of Heaven, where all the angels and the elect will live holy and pure.
